How it works
From a paid deal to a public signal
HonestCollabs turns thousands of private creator experiences into one thing the creator economy has never had: a reliability record you can check before you sign.
- 1
Finish a paid deal
You complete any paid collaboration — sponsored content, UGC, an affiliate push, a podcast read, a newsletter placement.
- 2
Rate four dimensions
Score the things that predict the experience, add a short factual note. Anonymous by default — we publish a creator type, never your identity.
- 3
A profile forms at 3 reports
Once a brand reaches 3 reports, an aggregate reliability score goes public. Below that, reports are held so no single creator is identifiable.
- 4
Brands get a right of reply
A brand can claim its profile and publish one response per report — context, corrections, and the fix it put in place.
- 5
The next creator vets first
Before signing, creators check the brand’s profile. Reliable brands attract better creators; unreliable ones can no longer hide.
The four dimensions
Paid on time
Did the brand pay the agreed amount, on the agreed date?
High score: Invoices clear on schedule, no chasing.
Clear brief
Was the scope clear and stable, or did it creep?
High score: Deliverables were defined up front and held steady.
Responsive
Did the brand reply in reasonable time throughout?
High score: Replies came back in days, not weeks.
Would work again
Would you take another deal from this brand?
High score: Creators come back. The strongest single signal.
