FTC disclosure

Rules (from the US Federal Trade Commission, with equivalents like the UK ASA) requiring creators to clearly disclose paid or gifted partnerships, e.g. with “#ad” or a platform’s paid-partnership label.

For creators: Disclosure protects you, not just the brand. A brand pressuring you to hide #ad is a red flag.
